aktpics > Day 219 - Doggie Sitting. My turn to watch Amy's furry children. I would have brought a photoshop book to read to them but I was afraid that I would fall asleep mid-sentence.
aktpics > Day 314 - Computer, lobster please.I'm still enjoying the novelty of having my wacom tablet mounted inside my desk.

I would have set this shot up with a glass of white wine but I was worried that it would have clashed horribly with the plywood. And the paper towel napkin.

Today was actually the first day that I made a meal from scratch in the RV. I made steak burritos with black beans and rice. I did cook the steak outside on Lloyd's Weber grill, though.
aktpics > Day 221 - Terrabyte.I'm not talking about eating dirt, either. Not just yet, anyway. I found out there is one downside to photographing something every day. My hard drive has gone past the 80% mark and caused my backups to fail because the drive is so slow. Hopefully this will buy me some time until I can figure out a better solution to dealing with these large dslr raw files. BTW, 1 TB takes a long time to format :)
aktpics > Day 37 - Holiday Spirit. It's a lot easier getting into the holiday spirit when it's Friday!

What a long week.
aktpics > Day 345 - Silent AL (2/20/2009)If you have ever seen the movie CLERKS then there will be something familiar to you about this scene. The movie was filmed in Leonardo, which is pretty close to my house in Belford. I drove by the "Quick Stop" the other day while making a u-turn in the RV and noticed how much things have changed. The video store isn't there anymore and the vacant lot across the street is no longer vacant. I figured I would get a picture and maybe incorporate it into my POD (or POM).

As I pulled up I noticed a bunch of guys that could only be Clerks fans hanging around. I asked them if they would like me to take a pictures of them and they were very gratefull. I asked "Jay" if he would pose with me. Now that I am looking at this I realize how greatful I am that they were there. This shot would have been pretty lame without him!

Oh, and I STILL have never actually been inside the store. How lame is that!
aktpics > Day 356 - THE Corner. (8/13/2009).So, I'm standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona eating a sausage mcmuffin with cheese...

I didn't torture enough people on Facebook with this. After having the Eagles song in my head for the last 12 hours, this place shows up on my google search for RV parts. So, I had to check it out. Guess what song was playing from a speaker hidden somewhere...aaaaarrrgh!
aktpics > Day 289 - Archival Media.Time to stop hoarding (raw) photos on my hard drives. I ordered MAM-A dvds for archiving. They are supposed to be reliable and long lasting. We'll see. I better not be getting any read errors a hundred years from now.
aktpics > Day 98 - Hatched. The KITTENS are here. They were born on Sunday and I finally got a chance to go over and see them. Mother and her 5 offspring all seem healthy and happy.
aktpics > September 15, 2009 - South Bend, In.My grandmother, who will be 101 next year, in her back yard. The chair to her left is a make-shift scarecrow. Every morning there is a huge swarm of cardinals that come for the sunflower seeds she puts out for them. She has been feeding them this way for about 10 years. Pigeons, squirrels, chipmunks and other animals trying to get in on breakfast are not tolerated.

Day 219 - Doggie Sitting.

My turn to watch Amy's furry children. I would have brought a photoshop book to read to them but I was afraid that I would fall asleep mid-sentence.
