Day 311 -Homemade desk.
Well, so much for relaxing on the weekend. Apparently the mere thought of taking it easy had me up at 2AM, unable to go back to sleep.
The storm didn't roll in until around 6AM. I spent the whole day on the final assembly of the computer desk and hooking up my computer equipment.
I always wanted to have the wacom tablet inside the desk because that is how I am used to writing and drawing. I didn't have the guts to cut a hole in my cherry wood office desk, so this is a perfect opportunity to try it. I have it covered with a piece of clear polycarbonate which can be removed to allow the tablet to positioned upright like an easel.
So far I am really digging it and I will probably put some formica on it when I get back to NJ.
