Day 347 - Lycopene (7/7/2009).

As I am getting older, I have been trying to eat healthier. I couldn't have been happier when I saw on the Heinz catsup bottle that it was a good source of Lycopene. I can actually feel the lycopenic goodness coursing through my veins while I am writing this.

This is a porkroll (Taylor Ham), egg and cheese sandwich (on a bagel). This is a very common breakfast request in NJ. I am not sure you can even get porkroll in too many places other than NJ. I am not sure why it isn't just called New Jersey Ham. Virginia has their own ham, I see signs for it everywhere.

Enough about porkroll, which I think belongs to the SPAM family, btw. To take this picture, I locked my shutter down while it was set to auto advance, then I grabbed my sandwich and posed. I think the autofocus must have gotten my nose. It probably would have come out better if I released the shutter manually, but I didn't want to get any lycopene on my camera.
