Day 353 - Intrusive. (8/3/2009).I was thinking about a photography exhibit that I saw a while back. It was a collection of photographs where the photographer's shadow was, most-likely by accident, a prominent part of the image. After looking at a dozen or so of them it gave me the distinct feeling of how intrusive we photographers can be. I am trying to convey that same feeling in just one photograph...so, I need to be a little less subtle. I took this near The Embarcedero in downtown San Francisco. I didn't ask their permission but I am pretty sure they didn't even notice me.

A Picture of Myself...EVERY day...For a YEAR

The first question that comes to my mind is: What the hell was I thinking?

I guess the main reason, of course, is that I would like to improve upon my photography skills. I mean, if I take at least one picture EVERY friggin day for a year, HOW CAN THEY NOT GET BETTER? If they don't, I am sure one of my friends will break into my house and smash up all of my camera gear as a non-random act of kindness.
